I thought he did ok to be fair in what was a tough game to ref. The Dutch whining this morning is a bit much. de Jong could easily have walked in the 27th minute, Webb chose, sensibly in my opinion, not to send him off, yet the Orange are still moaning. Playing with ten for 65 minutes against Spain's passing ability, you've got no chance (Stoke v Man City excepted ) so if anything he did them a big favour last night.
